It is late at night…rather it is early in the morning. My friend and I are merely awake due to 5-hour energy shots and will do anything to stay off task due to the lack of entertainment studying provides. This leads to very entertaining conversations. We talked about the projected path that each one of our friends we think are going to take. Many people have changed their paths not surprisingly. Everyone just knew that they were pre-Med and will be doctor someday…until college happened. I have never seen so many changes happen so swiftly and it got me to thinking. Nothing is ever like it seems blah blah blah cliché right? But it is soooo true! If you knew the predictions we concocted it would make sense. People I thought for sure would be doctor material ended completely switching. Others you thought had everything laid out and under control ended up being the ones who had let go of the steering wheel. This is hastily written, but it goes to show you that a good plan sometimes is to have no plan. A rigid timeline of life is not the most efficient way to live. It could result in misery of a path not wanted. College is that fork in the road that sets the rest life into motion. Choose carefully. It’s hard to correct.
