Okay, so today was obviously Father’s Day and it was great! I came home from school and hung out with mom until Dad came home on Father’s Day! Mom cooked the most delicious meals with all of our favorites: Caribbean Curry Ox Tails (they aren’t gross…TRUST ME), Rice and Peas with Coconut Milk, Cabbage, and fried sweet plantains! It was phenomenal! I baked a Better than Sex Cake (which is my favorite cake in the world!) and made fresh strawberry lemonade. It was a dinner for a great father and hungry wife and daughter. It was worth going home for this meal. I got to cook with mom and I got to see Dad after he went to the Netroots Nation Convention. Info about that here: http://www.netrootsnation.org/. I ain’t talking about it here. So I think it is best to show you how awesome my meal was. The meal may look a little gross to you guys, but trust me, my mom can throw down! We ate so much that we all passed out from food overdose, literally. Family nap time FTW.
