Knowles and Jay-Z have done it again! On Saturday, Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed into the world their new baby girl Blue Ivy Carter. I congratulate them on their new bundle of joy. The only thing I find odd about this besides the name is how the pregnancy has been presented to the world. Beyoncé showed her baby bump openly very few times with the knowledge that I have. Now, I am no entertainment buff or anything and don’t have extensive knowledge on the facts about their pregnancy, but usually the baby bump is a thing of pride. She still performed through her pregnancy as well sparking a little more of my suspicion about the pregnancy . Beyoncé has always been a phenomenal dancer, singer, and all around performer. She goes full throttle on her performances. I have seen a few of them from the recent months and the bump seemed a little…small. I remember there being much hoopla about the couple having a surrogate mother, but of course that rumor was never verified. Overall, the pregnancy seemed much in the shadows which is understandable. Celebrities need their privacy and having it known and it be true that a surrogate mother was part of the process or any other details about the pregnancy could affect their image. In closing, it is wonderful news to hear! I can’t wait to see how the offspring of a power couple will grow up and be raised. She is one lucky daughter.
