It has been brought to my attention that Westboro is at it again.
I find it comical that they assign the cause of this Biblical flood to one single reason. From what I learned in Sunday school it was a little bit more inclusive than just gay-marriage if at all (I’m a little fuzzy). I am curious to know if they think they still find themselves relative. Well, they obviously do, but what do they think about themselves? I understand they have their following, but they are not very popular to the masses. Also, that scripture is a little off to what they were trying to achieve. I feel like they are promoting fear as usual, but whatever. I don’t have a degree in theology or religion, but I still think that is the wrong scripture to use.
Another point I would like to point out is sodomy between a man and his wife…and that is all I will say. I mean that must be a sin right? No god-fearing man or woman would want oral from their spouse. Let alone anal. Absolutely not.
This group makes me ashamed at being Baptist. I am Baptist myself and I don’t like they way they pimp out their religion and use it as a weapon for hate. Also, check out their logo…
An upside down American flag? Okay so first thought that came to mind to be honest is the Netflix original series of House of Cards
(seen below) but then I realized that this is un-American. Like, stop Westboro. We get it. You don’t like the place you live and the majority who live in it. So do what you tell everyone else to do and leave.
