So, I can usually tell the general mood/biases/thought processes of people within my generation usually by what they post or share on Facebook. It is freaking infectious. I find myself sharing the same stories, saying the same things, feeling the same things. Here were my favorites from this week in all their descriptive and mirroring glory.
1. WAIT BUT WHY
It all started with this article:
Mind you, it is a wonderful, truthful article. It resonates with everyone in my generation and we all agreed with it and realized our faults that affect out happiness. I personally loved it. My parents loved it and it was humorous and educational.
Okay, so now I post cynical, narcissistic stuff on Facebook to make everyone jealous of me because based on the previous article we are all inflating our success when really we are all the same inexperienced, entitled, unrealistic, unhappy too ambitious youth. Yikes.
Then Huffington Post articles started cycling.
2. HUFFINGTON POST
Because we don’t know how to start being happy
WHY ARE WE SO UNHAPPY!? Haha. We are trying so hard to be happy it is insane. Well, at least we are trying. I, of course, loved this article especially the point they made that happy people skipping small talk and getting down and dirty just like I dunno, introverted people…which was ANOTHER Huffington Post article that was circulated throughout my feed. Anyhoo, this was another favorite I saw that was quite uplifting and positive.
And again we are unhappy…again.
Same article. Different location. Enough said.
But my favorite that resonated the most…
3. ELITE DAILY
Because we are lonely, attention seeking, and socially inept in all scenarios
I have never heard of this website, but yikes again! We just don’t know how to conduct ourselves do we? Well, I left this one for last not only because it is my favorite, but because it wraps up almost all former articles. Check it out. It speaks for itself.
Live, love, and be merry!
